The 360 Group
The 360 team and friends- breaking the mold, pushing boundaries, creating impact.

There he led all aspects of a membership organization, including strategic planning, grantmaking (in education and economic development), financial management, and member recruitment and retention. These executive experiences make him particularly attuned to the vast array of leadership issues that organizations face day-to-day.

Melissa’s guiding belief with regard to effective search is that technical proficiency and functional mastery can be learned, and organizations in transition benefit most from leaders who share and demonstrate the core values held in the fabric of an organization’s culture. Ultimately, an effective leader recognizes the potential inherent in an opportunity, possesses the strategic skills to define realistic goals, and then leads the people, processes and organizational assets to meet desired outcomes.
Client and candidate engagement are equally important to a successful search process, and Melissa actively pursues those candidates who are not readily available or apparent. It’s often research, tenacity and authentic relationship building that enable superior candidates to be located and attracted to an opportunity. Melissa invests this time and these skills to bring the best possible slate of finalists to a client. Many client organizations hire her repeatedly over several years, facilitating senior leadership teams to evolve in a complementary manner.
Melissa’s liberal arts training and commitment to continuous learning keep her engaged in a variety of client and volunteer organizations. She holds BA degrees in Political Science and History from the University of Oregon. She participates in volunteer and client boardwork. Raised in Portland, she returned to Oregon after several years working and learning in North Carolina. She keeps up with her husband, two teens, and outsized dog while trying to fit in some fitness, skiing, travel, gardening and obsession with fictional political intrigue.
Alyse has dedicated her career to values-based, capacity-building work in both the private and nonprofit sectors, driven by a consistent interest in how good work gets done and how lean resources can be leveraged most effectively. At The 360 Group, she maintains a deep-rooted commitment to promoting excellence within the firm’s client partner organizations. As a consultant, she provides management counsel and workflow advice to client organizations at all stages of maturity, from startups to more established infrastructures.
Prior to joining the firm, Alyse held leadership positions in large and small organizations, notably serving as Investigations Manager for Amazon.com and as program manager for Bastyr University’s community medical clinic in Seattle. Drawing on her diverse set of skills and experiences, she develops business and operational strategy, structure, and practices for client organizations, empowering them to operate more effectively.
Originally from Arizona, Alyse spent several years living on the East Coast, now making her home in the Bay Area with her partner. As a firm believer in the value of lifelong learning, she complements her work at the firm with a variety of research and creative projects that inform not only her perspective on organizations, but also human nature. She holds a combined bachelor’s degree in interrelated media begun at Stanford University and completed at the Massachusetts College of Art in Boston.
With more than twenty-five years experience in the social sector, he has a solid commitment to excellence in the sector and often provides administrative counsel to organizations to more efficiently and effectively achieve their missions. His passion for community service began while working at the National AIDS Fund in Washington, DC. He has held a number of key leadership positions in diverse organizations, including interim executive director for Black Coalition on AIDS, a grassroots organization, and project manager in the launch of the information technology website targeted to nonprofit organizations, TechSoup.
As a testament to his continued commitment to help organizations create opportunities that positively affect the lives of disenfranchised individuals, Luis serves as Chair of the Board of Directors for the Rafiki Coalition for Health and Wellness (formerly Black Coalition on AIDS), a community health and wellness organization committed to eliminating health disparities in Black and marginalized communities in San Francisco.
Luis hails from Washington, DC, is bilingual and enjoys sharing lively conversation in Spanish. He now considers himself a Bay Area native after moving to San Francisco in 1995. He enjoys cooking simple meals, entertaining family and friends at home, spending long weekends and holidays in Jenner, CA, a small, quaint town where the Pacific Ocean and Russian River meet, with his husband and lovable dog, Bella.
Marketing and Business Development
Maureen comes to The 360 Group with a breadth of experience from both small and large organizations ranging from start-ups to large media companies. She has served in a variety of roles from marketing to finance to human resources, as both a member of the management team and in a consulting capacity. She is passionate about helping organizations to grow and communicate effectively. Through her work in MBA admissions consulting, she enjoyed staying closely connected to innovative educational institutions and helping to cultivate the next generation of business leaders.
Maureen’ s work with nonprofits started with volunteer efforts in schools and community organizations. With three children across an eight year age span attending public, independent and parochial schools, she began volunteering in their schools early on. In a variety of positions, she has applied her business skills to help these schools fundraise, launch new programs and initiatives, hire exceptional leaders and communicate effectively with their stakeholders. Through these experiences, she learned a lot about nonprofits and effective value-driven leadership. Additionally, education, from pre-school to graduate school has become a personal passion.
Maureen earned an MBA from the Tuck School at Dartmouth College (Hanover, NH) and a B.S. in Finance and Accounting from Fairfield University (Fairfield, Connecticut). She is originally from New York but after 20 years in the Bay Area, she is still so enamored by the weather, natural beauty and diverse cuisine that she may never return. Her three children keep her busy with many sports and activities. When she can get away, she loves to travel and ski.
