We are excited to announce the appointment of Angie Chen as the new Executive Director at Skyline Foundation. A dedicated leader driven by a passion for equity and justice, Angie brings extensive experience in philanthropy and community engagement to the role.
Angie most recently served as the Director of Programs at the Libra Foundation, where she led grantmaking, communications, and funder organizing. At Libra, she led the program team in designing and implementing trust-based grantmaking strategies across multiple program areas, which funded grantees ranging from local to international. Prior to that, Angie held grantmaking roles at multiple foundations as well as co-founded and led a national funder collaborative, Blue Sky Funders Forum. She has also volunteered with various philanthropic organizations, and currently serves on the board of Asian Pacific Environmental Network (APEN).
In her new role, Angie will collaborate closely with the board, support Skyline’s outstanding team, and help align the foundation’s work with its vision and values. She is excited about Skyline’s dedication to finding and funding organizations with inspired, innovative leadership as well as the foundation’s commitment to trusting grantee partners in order to create lasting change.
The 360 Group is proud to have partnered with Skyline Foundation in this important search. With a renewed sense of urgency and commitment to building a more just future, Skyline Foundation is poised to make a significant impact under Angie’s leadership.
