The 360 Group is excited to announce the appointment of Eric Abrams as the new Chief Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Officer at KQED. With over two decades of experience leading diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives, primarily in higher education, Eric brings extensive knowledge and expertise to this important role.
Eric Abrams most recently served as the inaugural Chief Inclusion Officer at the Stanford Graduate School of Education, where he was an internal consultant to the Dean, faculty members, staff colleagues, and students around a host of DEI issues. Prior to his role at Stanford, he was the first Director of Diversity Initiatives at UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business, where he developed and executed an overarching vision for DEI at the school. Eric has also served as a board member at the Making Waves Academy, a charter school in Richmond, California, and is the former President of the Board for 826 National, a national network of tutoring centers focused on empowering underserved youth through writing.
As the new Chief Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Officer at KQED, Eric will be responsible for developing and implementing a strategy to embed the principles of diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout the organization. He will work closely with the leadership team to ensure a workplace where everyone feels valued and heard.
The 360 Group is proud to have partnered with KQED in the search for its Chief Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Officer. We are excited to see Eric Abrams make significant contributions in his new role, and look forward to witnessing the positive impact he will have on the organization and its mission to serve the people of Northern California with trusted, quality programming.
