We are excited to announcement that Mike Rosen will serve in the newly created position of Chief Revenue and Business Development Officer for the Fairfield County Community Foundation. Mike brings a broad range of professional experiences to this key role. He spent the majority of his career to date building two integrated marketing agencies and representing some of America’s best-known consumer brands. For the last three years, he helped revitalize one of the nation’s iconic community improvement nonprofits as Senior Vice President, Marketing & Communications with Keep America Beautiful, Inc., based in Stamford, CT. At Keep America Beautiful, Mike led the development of a comprehensive digital infrastructure and marketing platform as the foundation of a multi-year plan aimed at revitalizing the brand, driving revenue growth, improving donor and volunteer engagement, and expanding organizational impact. He also played a lead strategy and stewardship role with Keep America Beautiful’s largest corporate funders.
Mike credits an array of skills in helping to shape his career path: a knack for consensus building, an appreciation of organizational culture and a shared sense of urgency, the power of teachers and mentorship, the potency of words and images, the importance of trying to make the world a better place and instilling pride in striving towards defined goals. As an engaged Connecticut citizen, in his spare time, he serves as a Selectman for his town of Southbury. He is excited to apply those skills and experiences to making a difference locally through his work with the Fairfield County Community Foundation.
