Luis Martinez serves as chief administrative officer for The 360 Group. In this role, he oversees the firm’s operational support services in the areas of finance, budget management, human resources, legal and compliance management, information management, and logistics.
With more than twenty-five years experience in the social sector, he has a solid commitment to excellence in the sector and often provides administrative counsel to organizations to more efficiently and effectively achieve their missions. His passion for community service began while working at the National AIDS Fund in Washington, DC. He has held a number of key leadership positions in diverse organizations, including interim executive director for Black Coalition on AIDS, a grassroots organization, and project manager in the launch of the information technology website targeted to nonprofit organizations, TechSoup.
As a testament to his continued commitment to help organizations create opportunities that positively affect the lives of disenfranchised individuals, Luis serves as Chair of the Board of Directors for the Rafiki Coalition for Health and Wellness (formerly Black Coalition on AIDS), a community health and wellness organization committed to eliminating health disparities in Black and marginalized communities in San Francisco.
Luis hails from Washington, DC, is bilingual and enjoys sharing lively conversation in Spanish. He now considers himself a Bay Area native after moving to San Francisco in 1995. He enjoys cooking simple meals, entertaining family and friends at home, spending long weekends and holidays in Jenner, CA, a small, quaint town where the Pacific Ocean and Russian River meet, with his husband and lovable dog, Bella.
